From Fr. Enzo...Dear Friends of St. Louis Center,

If there is one thing the events of 2021 have taught us all, it’s that we are all resilient in ways we never knew. Resilience is a quality the residents of St. Louis Center have been cultivating their whole lives. Every day they learn, grow, and adapt to the changing world in ways that demonstrate determination through difficulties that inspire and hearten their families and the staff who work with them every day.

  • Joey greets everyone he meets at his job with friendliness and continues to work on his verbal communication skills so that others can best understand him.
  • Matthias smiles every day at his job knowing he has gained the skills to be the best worker he can be.
  • Charlie learned to administer his own medicine so that he was able to have visits with his blind father.

Each of us has risen above the challenges of these last months, some of the toughest we’ve ever seen. Despite the obstacles, the St. Louis Center community of friends has shown the grace of generosity. Your support helped each resident move forward in a changing world, demonstrating a regenerative resilience and grit that inspires us all. For this,
we are very grateful!

Our work is not done. The residents of St. Louis Center need your help to ensure that they will have the resources to be
resilient for years to come. Every donation makes a difference.

You have been generous to us in the past, for which we thank you so very much. If you are able at this time, we ask that you make a contribution to St. Louis Center today to help continue the progress. Your donation is tax deductible. It is an uncertain and challenging time for all of us, but with God’s steadfast grace and guidance, along with vigilance and hard work, I am confident that together we will continue the progress. On behalf of the residents and staff, I send our heartfelt wishes for health, grace and peace during this season of Christmas.
God’s blessings to you,
