Benevolent Care
St. Louis Center relies on the generosity of donors to raise 35% of its operating budget each year—or about $3.6 million. These donations help provide a secure, loving home for the Center’s residents, some of whom, like Jerome, have lived here for more than 40 years!

According to the 2022 audit, St. Louis Center administrative and overhead expenses were only 23%, in line with well-managed nonprofit best practices.
