A perfect summer day welcomed over 150 golfers to the University of Michigan Golf Course for the annual Golf and Glory Outing benefitting St. Louis Center Monday, June 20th. Golf carts lined the beautiful clubhouse as Fr. Enzo said a prayer asking for a blessed day. The teams then faded into the distance as golfers prepared for a 10 am shotgun start.

Teams enjoyed the beautiful course while betting on holes, trying for hole in ones, and having a great time with their teams. At the turn, lunch was served giving everyone a moment to relax before hitting the tee box once again.

As the golfing came to a close, everyone eagerly gathered in the clubhouse banquet room to await the news of the winning teams. The 2022 winners of the Golf and Glory Outing include:

  • First Place with a score of 56 (-15) – Team Bill McPherson
  • Second Place with a score of 58 (-13) – Team Glenn Johnson
  • Longest Drive – Gianmarco Samayoa (Womens longest Drive) and Ron Owen (Mens Longest Drive)
  • Closest to the Pin – Dianne Guilbault and Brian Klatt
