The Knights of Columbus is a fraternal organization of Catholic men with a long history of generosity. The wives of these Knights have a history of generosity too.
In nearby Dexter MI, the Columbus Ladies Auxiliary have been holding fundraisers for many years to assist the residents of St. Louis Center.
Quartermania has been a very popular and wildly successful event for the women for many years. However, due to the pandemic, the event has been on hiatus. This hard working group didn’t let this stop their efforts to do good. They forged ahead with their rummage sales and other small endeavors.
On Sunday, March 27, 2022 Beth Chamberlain and Gerry Campbell of the Columbus Ladies Auxiliary attended Mass in the St. Louis Center chapel to surprise Fr. Enzo and the residents. They came bearing good news and generous donation of $5,000. The good news is that in May the ladies will once again be hosting Quartermania at the Dexter Knights of Columbus Hall and Banquet Center, 8265 Dexter-Chelsea Rd., Dexter MI 48130.
Please plan on attending Quartermania on Wednesday, May 18th and bring all of your friends. You will all have a great time and help the residents of St. Louis Center.
