Golf and Glory
Summer is “Get out and Golf” season! St. Louis Center loves to participate in and host multiple golf outings throughout this season to raise money to help support our amazing residents!
On June 24th, we officially kicked off the 2024 golf season at the University of Michigan Golf Course when nearly 140 golfers came out to support the Center. Volunteers led by event chair Alan Augustine, put in months of work and planning to make this year’s outing a success. The weather did its part, attracting many familiar faces alongside many new, young faces all joining in on the fun. After each team completed their full round of golf, attendees were treated to a dinner and presentations about some of the most loyal supporters of the Center.
Chance at a Cruise!
Another major attraction of the evening was the exciting raffle taking place with the proceeds helping support the Center’s residents. Continuing on with the fun of the night, Mike, a St. Louis Center resident, drew the winning ticket to determine who would be the lucky recipient of the grand prize in the Alaskan Cruise raffle!
Finally, we want to thank everyone who came out to participate and support us, especially our volunteers who were in the background the entire time making sure the event was a success. We appreciate all that our volunteers and supporters do for us to help us continue the good work here at St. Louis Center!
