At St. Louis Center, we believe that the strength of our community lies in the bonds we create with our friends and supporters. Celebrating milestones and heroes is a vital part of nurturing these connections, and Paesano’s new owners have played a crucial role in making this possible through their generosity.
St. Louis Center is honored to count Mike and Bridget Roddy, the former owners of Paesano Italian Restaurant, among our cherished friends. Since 2008, they have generously reserved a private dining room for St. Louis Center staff and supporters. The esteemed Ann Arbor restaurant hosts a splendid five-course meal, paying special tribute to the friends of the Center. This year, we extend our heartfelt thanks to the new proprietors, Rick, Andrew, and Elissa, for fostering new friendships and graciously continuing this beloved tradition.
On Sunday, June 23rd, Paesano’s Italian Restaurant was filled to capacity as we officially welcomed Fr. Satheesh Alphonse as the new CEO of St. Louis Center. Guests from various communities gathered to enjoy excellent food, engaging conversations, and a refined atmosphere. Brian Bowman introduced several community members who have collaborated with Fr. Satheesh on numerous projects, including Fr. William Turner of St. Mary’s Parish in Chelsea and Rep. Kathy Schmaltz of Michigan’s 46th District. Norm Neuman, accompanied by his son Joe, highlighted Fr. Satheesh’s dedicated service to the Servants of Charity and St. Louis Center before assuming his new role. Fr. Franklin Michael also shared personal insights into Fr. Satheesh’s journey to becoming CEO. The room erupted in enthusiastic applause as attendees warmly welcomed Fr. Satheesh and expressed their excitement for the Center’s future under his leadership.
