St. Louis Center is very proud to announce that Rosalie Tocco-Bradley, MD, PhD, MHSA, Chief Clinical Officer at Trinity Health Michigan, received the Michigan Healthcare Association’s 2025 Healthcare Leadership Award this past June. Each year, the MHA recognizes outstanding individuals who have provided exceptional leadership to healthcare organizations and to the health and well-being of the community. At Dr. Tocco-Bradley’s request, the $1,000 monetary portion of her award was given to St. Louis Center. Read the full story about the event here.
Her History
Dr. Tocco-Bradley has avidly supported the residents of St. Louis Center for over four decades. Her involvement began when she helped her family organize Christmas parties, summer picnics, golf outings, and many other celebrations and fundraising events that have helped to sustain the Center’s mission. Throughout her illustrious career, which included earning three advanced degrees, serving as Chief Clinical Officer with Trinity Health Michigan and Chair and Medical Director of the SJMHS Department of Anesthesiology, and numerous other leadership and teaching positions, she has always kept St. Louis Center and its residents close. Since 2022, Dr. Tocco-Bradley has been a member of the Center’s all-volunteer Community Advisory Council.
Her Expertise
An anesthesiologist, Dr. Tocco-Bradley earned her MD from Harvard Medical School and her PhD in Physiology and Masters in Health Administration from the University of Michigan. Always forward-thinking, Dr. Tocco-Bradley was instrumental in helping to facilitate a foundational grant to St. Louis Center from Chelsea Hospital/Trinity Health in 2016 to help purchase and roll out the HIPAA-compliant Therap app and platform. St. Louis Center social work, nursing, program, and other staff utilize Therap’s electronic health record platform and documentation tools to coordinate and enhance care of the residents.
The entire St. Louis Center community thanks Dr. Rosalie Tocco-Bradley for her leadership, wisdom, kindness, and concern for the health and welfare of all Michiganders, including individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
