Laughter, conversation, and the aroma of delicious Italian food filled the air as nearly 100 guests gathered for this year’s Pasta and the Priests at St. Louis Center. A beloved annual tradition, the evening offered friends, supporters, and families a chance to enjoy fellowship with the priests who serve the Center each day while celebrating the community that helps our residents live full and joyful lives.

The St. Louis Center gym was beautifully transformed into a warm and inviting Italian bistro, creating the perfect setting for an evening centered on connection and hospitality. Guests were welcomed with charcuterie and cocktails before sitting down to enjoy a wonderful pasta dinner prepared by Kitchen Manager Tracy Peters and the talented St. Louis Center kitchen staff.

The menu featured a delicious selection of traditional pasta dishes, with something to satisfy every appetite, including gluten-free and vegetarian options. A special thank you goes to Mamma Mucci’s Pasta for generously donating the gourmet pasta that made the meal even more memorable.

Guests also had the opportunity to meet two newer members of the St. Louis Center team: Development Director Jackie Gordon and PR & Marketing Manager Julia Zaher. Jackie’s creativity was also on full display as she assembled the beautiful charcuterie boards that welcomed guests at the start of the evening.

Finance Director Carla Fields and her team added a festive touch by creatively decorating the tables, helping transform the gym into a charming dining space that made everyone feel right at home.

Because Pasta with the Priests is truly a family-friendly event, several children joined their parents for the evening and added extra joy to the celebration. One of the highlights of the night came when they helped Fr. Satheesh draw the winning tickets for the door prizes, bringing plenty of smiles and excitement to the crowd.

More than just a dinner, Pasta with the Priests is a celebration of the people who make St. Louis Center such a special place. It is an opportunity to welcome newcomers, reconnect with longtime supporters, and recognize the many individuals whose generosity and friendship help create meaningful lives for our residents.

It was a beautiful evening of faith, food, and fellowship—and one more reminder that at St. Louis Center, community is always at the heart of everything we do.
