St. Louis Center is facing decreased funding and increased costs during the coronavirus epidemic.
Your gift of any amount is always appreciated!
Did you know that a single day of benevolent care costs $304 per resident? Benevolent care includes residents’ food, shelter, utilities, transportation, and clothing, as well as the staff who provide loving care and activities.
Make a difference in the life of a resident when you click here and select “Provide one day of Benevolent Care for a Resident”.
Help provide support over time with a recurrent donation, matching fund, or planned gift.
We’re all excited to resume in-person ways to benefit the lives of SLC residents.
St. Louis Center provides an opportunity to interact with and get to know community members who are intellectually / developmentally disabled. Those who do quickly learn that labels are not people, and the people who call St. Louis Center home are extraordinary in many ways.
Start by telling us a bit more about what you would like to do and how much time you would like to commit here. Please be sure to let us know if you wish to volunteer as a group or have special interests.

Because of YOU, we met and exceeded the $150,000 MATCH!
In November, a very generous anonymous donor offered to match $100,000 of gifts for #SLCBenevolentCare during the month of December. Because of your wonderful kindness, we filled that match on Dec 16.
In December, another very generous anonymous donor saw the generosity of St. Louis Center supporters and offered to match an additional $50,000 donated by Dec 31. On that day we EXCEEDED the match, and continue to tabulate the final results!
THANK YOU FOR YOUR GENEROSITY!

The realization of the St. Louis Guanella Village has been the innovation carried out at St. Louis Center. The year of grace 2021 became the year of the full implementation of this vision; the program for minors was closed in June and the Center implemented the strategic plan of serving only adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities, especially those who are aging.
