Ken Unterbrink and local Knights visiting parishes

Ken and Ellie Unterbrink at a St. Louis Center golf outingKen Unterbrink is no stranger to volunteering.

Throughout his life Ken has been giving his time to many organizations, St. Louis Center happens to be one of his favorites.

Ken has been very active with the Michigan Knights of Columbus. He was the State Deputy from 2016-2018 and remains in contact with the many friends that he made. The Knights and St. Louis Center are a perfect match for doubling his impact of volunteer time. We are so grateful!

Alaskan Cruise Raffle ticket sales at an area church

This spring Ken served as the chairperson for the Golf and Glory Outing’s Alaskan Cruise Raffle. He spent many hours and drove many miles to sell raffle tickets.

His efforts showed big dividends. Ken reinvigorated sales at area Catholic churches, calling on Knights of Columbus members to spearhead the effort in their respective churches. He mentored several Knights of Columbus members on how to effectively sell the tickets, setting the stage for volunteers in the coming years.

As a result of his hard work, over 1700 tickets were sold. Thank you Ken, Eli, and the many Knights, parishes, and parishioners who participated!
