Each May, the 429 Michigan Knights of Columbus Councils gather on Mackinac Island to reflect on the past and discuss plans for the future. This year, Fr. Satheesh and Fr. Franklin represented St. Louis Center and highlighted the great work that is being done here. During meetings on the Island May 21st-23rd, Fr. Satheesh presented a video and brief talk about the work of the Center. It was a great opportunity to gain more donors and volunteers to help further the mission of the Center. While at the convention, Fr. Satheesh met Archbishop Edward J. Weisenburger, the new Archbishop of Detroit, during an informal gathering of the clergy.
Overall, the convention was a great time to thank Knights of Columbus Councils for their ongoing support of the Center, and inform them of upcoming events and changes.
