The excitement around Independence College at St. Louis Center has been growing since the spring of 2021.

Seeing that there was a need for residents to learn skills that would help them be more independent in their lives, the Social Services Department at the Center formatted a “college” type lesson plan. 10 residents participated. Read more here…

Fr. Joseph Rinaldo, SdC

Former CEO and long-time priest at St. Louis Center is retiring from the Center. Fr. Joe will be spending his retirement years in Italy.

Fr. Joseph was assigned to St. Louis Center for the first time in 1980, discovering a facility with many needs. He got busy right away looking for creative ways to provide for the needs of the Center.

Many people have dedicated their lives to the well-being of St. Louis Center. One of these persons is Fr. Joseph Rinaldo (Fr. Joe for many). The quarterly newsletter is the fruit of his vision as well as reaching out to other agencies and people and the establishment of the endowment trust fund.
