Staff played many games together, like tug-of-war.

Guanellian staff around the globe do work that is far from glamorous and are often barely recognized for their efforts. St. Louis Center hosted an All-Staff Day on September 21 to show appreciation for their hard work.

The day began with a light breakfast provided by the family association, made up of family members of Center residents. As employees enjoyed their breakfast, workers from area organizations arrived to set up workshops.

Several different personal development workshops were offered, topics that not only benefit the work they do at the Center, but in their personal lives as well. During lunch in the gym, vendors were on hand to assist with benefits and the nurses took blood pressure readings. The day also included games and prizes. The most popular activity was the t-shirt contest. The staff is anxious to purchase a shirt with the winning design. The day was quite successful and organizers plan to offer this each year.
