Meet St. Louis Center’s latest staff hires!

Michael Franklin

Michael joined the Development & Communications Department as the Data Entry Clerk in December. He is passionate about computers and webwork and is currently enrolled in a software engineering program.  Michael is excited to work with SLC’s donation database, ensuring top-notch reporting.

Jerry Pollard

Jerry is the new Food Services Supervisor at the Center. He was raised in Grass Lake, graduating from Grass Lake High School in 1984. Jerry now resides in the Brooklyn area with his wife Nancy. They have 5 children between them and 8 grandkids. They enjoy time with their grandkids attending their sports activities, and have the grandkids over to swim in their pool. When we are not chasing the grandkids, we like to go on weekend camping trips with our friends and travel to visit family out of state.

Jerry has 10 years of food service experience as the owner and Chef of Grady’s Custom Catering. Additionally, he spent 20 years on the guest services team at Michigan International Speedway, where, for the last 4 years, he was the manager of guest services.

Getting to know the other food service staff members and the St. Louis family is his first goal, with a vision of elevating the food service program to an elite level for the residents. During his short time at the Center, he has been blessed to see why he wants to be part of this great community at St. Louis Center.
