The scramble format and inviting course layout at Pierce Lake Golf Course in Chelsea, MI make this an event to enjoy. St. Louis Center is blessed to have so many supporters. In honor of those who have passed, since 1987, the Memorial Golf Outing has allowed us to remember these individuals and their generosity.
This event is an easy golf scramble that players young and older can enjoy. Golfers take a break between holes and head to the course pavilion where hotdogs are served. After the scores are finalized, dinner is served, a raffle takes place, and awards are presented.

This year’s Memorial Golf Outing is in remembrance of Jerry D’Adamo.
“I met Jerry D’Adamo when I joined the Italian American Club of Livonia in 1992. Jerry became a friend immediately. For St. Louis Center, he was family, for he espoused the Center’s mission and made it his own. He discovered St. Louis Center, and it was love at first sight! Every stone at the Center talks of Jerry. He would say, ‘You have no idea how I feel about SLC. I see the residents and I see myself.’ Jerry was awarded the St. Louis Guanella Humanitarian award in 2011, and we were proud to give Jerry this award for the many hours he had spent soliciting funds to help the residents. He was a hero for St. Louis Center, and we have the privilege of honoring his memory one more time through the annual Memorial Golf Outing.”
