Jean graduated in 2011 from EMU with a Bachelor’s degree in Social Work. Before coming to St. Louis Center, she worked at Ann Arbor Center for Independent Living for 4 years. The role as Supervisor for the Nursing Facility Transition team gave her a lot of experience working with Community Mental Health and foster/group homes for adults. Jean also has a strong background working with the homeless population in Washtenaw County as a transition coordinator for Veterans who are experiencing homelessness working directly with the vets to overcome barriers to safe, stable, and affordable housing.

“I look forward to coming in to work every morning and being greeted by the residents who are excited to tell you about their evening or what they have going on that day.”

Now employed at the Center as the Social Services Supervisor Jean feels like she is where she belongs, the staff and the residents are the reason she feels this way.
