What to Support

At St. Louis Center, we need your help to ensure that we can provide for the day-to-day needs of our residents and ensure that we can continue that care into the future.

Priority 1: Annual Residential Support
Individuals with I/DD begin the aging process much earlier than the general population. More than 30% of SLC residents are years of age or older. As a result, the cost of providing special meals, medication, durable medical equipment and staff care increases each year beyond what we receive for reimbursement. Therefore, we must raise $2 million each year, or nearly on third of SLC's $6.6 million annual budget, through donations. Your contribution, no matter the size, makes a direct and meaningful difference in the lives of the residents. GIVE NOW to help ensure that each resident can enjoy a healthy, active fulfilled life.

Priority 2: Legacy Campaign to Build St. Louis Guanella Village
Re In 2010, St. Louis Center embarked on the journey to build an intentional community for people of all abilities on its rural Chelsea MI campus. Through the Legacy Campaign, we have raised $10 million in the first step of making that dream a reality. Today, the first phase of the Village is in place.

We will soon be launching the next phase of the Legacy Campaign to ensure future development of St. Louis Guanella Village so that we can serve the needs of persons with I/DD well into the future. More information will be available soon. Check out Completed Projects HERE.

Priority 3: Endowment Support
You can help ensure that the residents are assured the highest quality of care into the future by making a gift to the St. Louis Center Endowment Fund today. The Fund is managed by the Catholic Foundation of Michigan. manages the St. Louis Center Endowment Fund to assist with managing these funds.
