DESCRIPTION:The Italian American Delegates present their \n2026 Golf Outing\n\n  \nCome swing for a cause and make your game count at the 2026 IAD Golf Outing!\nDate: Monday\, July 13\, 2026\nMorning and Afternoon Shotgun Starts \nWhere: Pine Knob Golf Club\n5580 Waldon Dr.\nClarkston\, MI 48348 \n \nBecause of this impactful event\, the IAD is able to support St. Louis Center\, the Boy’s and Girl’s Clubs of Southeast Michigan\, the Children’s Hospital in Detroit\, the Capuchin Soup Kitchen in Detroit\, Friends of Foster Kids\, and two full scholarships at Macomb Community College. \nThey firmly believe in their mission to serve the community by raising money for those who need a helping hand and urge others to do the same. “It’s time to remember that there are many people out there that need our help and we ask that you join the cause.” \nThis event is approaching quickly so if you would like to participate in this un-fore-gettable event. To register\, please download the form attached below and email it to the Italian American Delegates at: IAD501C3@gmail.com as soon as possible! \nClick the image below to download the form! \n\nThe IAD Golf Day generates the majority of its charitable funds from the golfers\, the advertisers in their attractive golf day ad book\, various sponsorship packages\, and generous donations of food and items to support this event. In 2019\, this event raised over $90\,000 to help the underprivileged. The success of their golf day has inspired them to expand by adding a second annual event\, a Gourmet Wild Game Dinner\, which took place on May 7th\, 2024. Both these events support the IAD’s commitment to continue the tradition of giving that started in 1936. \nHelp the IAD help those that are in need OR place an ad in their event booklet. DESCRIPTION:Join the Sean Brian Ashline Foundation for their 4th annual golf outing to remember Sean!\n  \nSean was a Chelsea community member. \n\nSean Brian Ashline was a strong-willed young man\, well-known for his excitement to go above and beyond in helping everyone he could. Throughout his life\, Sean battled with mental illness which enabled him to develop compassion for everyone else who faced these hardships. Sean attended FlexTech\, a school designed to suit students’ needs through project-based learning allowing individuals who may not thrive in the traditional public school environment to excel and establish healthy goals for the present and future after graduation. \nThe Sean Brian Ashline Foundation (SBAF)\, a 501(c)(3) organization\, was established in 2022 to honor Sean’s memory and create a pathway to enrich the lives of individuals who need support in advocating for themselves in adulthood. \nLearn more about the Sean Brian Ashline Foundation here. \nRead more about Sean and the Sean Brian Ashline Foundation in this MLive article. \nThis event will raise money for the Sean Brian Ashline Foundation to benefit: \n\nSt. Louis Center\nScholarships for students of FlexTech High School in Brighton\n\nSBAF was established in 2022 to honor Sean’s memory and create a pathway to enrich the lives of individuals who need support in advocating for themselves in adulthood.
