SUMMARY:29th Annual Dad & Lad Golf Outing in Memory of Michael A. Chirco
DESCRIPTION:Dad & Lad Golf Outing\nThe Dad & Lad Golf Outing was created in 1997 to encourage father-son camaraderie. Dedicated and long-time St. Louis Center supporters Mike Chirco and Joe Maniaci are credited with organizing the event with the help of their friend\, Sam Cottone. Earlier this year\, Co-Founder Michael Chirco sadly passed away. This year’s event will be in memory of him. While he supported numerous causes that strengthened the lives of others\, the St. Louis Center held a special place in his heart. This outing alone has raised over $1\,000\,000 for the center over the last 28 years\, and he took pride in helping with that. \nAfter everyone gets their “daily dose of iron” attendees are treated to cocktails and a delicious sit-down dinner. St. Louis Center is blessed to have so many supporters. In honor of those who have passed\, since 1987\, the Memorial Golf Outing has allowed us to remember these individuals and their generosity.  \nClick here for a fillable\, printable Sponsorship Form.\n \nEllie Unterbrink\nEllie was known to love the outdoors and nature. She was a master gardener and never missed a sporting event for her children and grandchildren. Ellie enjoyed traveling and assisting Ken with his Knights of Columbus work. The Knights said that Ellie brought a sense of inclusion and love to the group. She was a member of the Equestrian Order Holy Sepulchre of Jerusalem (Dame Grand Cross Holy Sepulchre). She and Ken were honored at the 2024 Fall Dinner Auction for the many years of support they gave to the St. Louis Center. Faith and family were foremost in her life. \n\nThis event is an easy golf scramble that players\, young and older\, can enjoy. Golfers take a break between holes and head to the course pavilion\, where hot dogs are served. After the scores are finalized\, dinner is served\, a raffle takes place\, and awards are presented. \nDon’t miss out on the fun!
