DESCRIPTION:The Italian American Delegates present their \n2026 Golf Outing\n\n  \nCome swing for a cause and make your game count at the 2026 IAD Golf Outing!\nDate: Monday\, July 13\, 2026\nMorning and Afternoon Shotgun Starts \nWhere: Pine Knob Golf Club\n5580 Waldon Dr.\nClarkston\, MI 48348 \n \nBecause of this impactful event\, the IAD is able to support St. Louis Center\, the Boy’s and Girl’s Clubs of Southeast Michigan\, the Children’s Hospital in Detroit\, the Capuchin Soup Kitchen in Detroit\, Friends of Foster Kids\, and two full scholarships at Macomb Community College. \nThey firmly believe in their mission to serve the community by raising money for those who need a helping hand and urge others to do the same. “It’s time to remember that there are many people out there that need our help and we ask that you join the cause.” \nThis event is approaching quickly so if you would like to participate in this un-fore-gettable event. The success of their golf day has inspired them to expand by adding a second annual event\, a Gourmet Wild Game Dinner\, which took place on May 7th\, 2024. Throughout his life\, Sean battled with mental illness which enabled him to develop compassion for everyone else who faced these hardships. SUMMARY:29th Annual Dad & Lad Golf Outing in Memory of Michael A. Chirco
DESCRIPTION:Dad & Lad Golf Outing\nThe Dad & Lad Golf Outing was created in 1997 to encourage father-son camaraderie. Dedicated and long-time St. Louis Center supporters Mike Chirco and Joe Maniaci are credited with organizing the event with the help of their friend\, Sam Cottone. Earlier this year\, Co-Founder Michael Chirco sadly passed away. This year’s event will be in memory of him. While he supported numerous causes that strengthened the lives of others\, the St. Louis Center held a special place in his heart. This outing alone has raised over $1\,000\,000 for the center over the last 28 years\, and he took pride in helping with that. \nAfter everyone gets their “daily dose of iron” attendees are treated to cocktails and a delicious sit-down dinner. DESCRIPTION:If you go to one golf outing this year\, make it this one!\nThe scramble format and inviting course layout at Pierce Lake Golf Course in Chelsea\, MI make this an event to enjoy. St. Louis Center is blessed to have so many supporters. In honor of those who have passed\, since 1987\, the Memorial Golf Outing has allowed us to remember these individuals and their generosity.  \nSponsorships available soon.\n \nPaul Frisinger\nThis year\, we honor Paul Frisinger. Paul graduated from Chelsea High School and Michigan State University. He owned Frisinger Realty and was named Realtor of the Year by the Ann Arbor Board of Realtors in 2003. He retired in 2008. Paul worked as the Lima Township Zoning Administrator. He was active in his community\, serving as VP St. Paul UCC\, St. Louis Center Community Advisory Council\, Lima Township Planning Commission\, Ann Arbor Board of Realtors\, and Chelsea Chamber of Commerce. Paul was President of Chelsea United Way\, Chelsea Community Fair\, Chelsea Downtown Development Authority\, and the Chelsea Kiwanis Club.Paul was a loving husband\, father\, grandfather\, and brother. In his spare time\, he was a farmer and also enjoyed gardening and woodworking projects for his friends and family. \n\n\nThis event is an easy golf scramble that players\, young and older\, can enjoy. Golfers take a break between holes and head to the course pavilion\, where hotdogs are served. After the scores are finalized\, dinner is served\, a raffle takes place\, and awards are presented. \nDon’t miss out on the fun!
