2022 Memorial Golf Outing

If you go to one golf outing this year, make it this one!
The scramble format and inviting course layout at Pierce Lake Golf Course in Chelsea, MI make this an event to enjoy. St. Louis Center is blessed to have so many supporters. In honor of those who have passed, since 1987, the Memorial Golf Outing has allowed us to remember these individuals and their generosity.
In Remembrance of Ann Merkel
2022 Memorial Golf outing is in memory of Ann Merkel. Ann Merkel of Chelsea, was one of the Center’s many angels through the years. She passed away peacefully at home on February 21, 2020 at the age of 91. Ann was known for her involvement in the Fall Dinner Auction after taking over as Chair during the 1990s, and she was also a member of the Community Advisory Council for many years. She and the Merkel family have sponsored this outing for more than 20 years. Ann and her late husband, Martin, were great benefactors of the Center throughout their lives together. Ann is survived by her children Angie and David, and grandchildren Eva and Max.
This event is an easy golf scramble that players young and older can enjoy. Golfers take a break between holes and head to the course pavilion where hotdogs are served. After the scores are finalized, dinner is served, a raffle takes place, and awards are presented.
