Golf and Glory Golf Outing

Many sports celebrities from Michigan and elsewhere attend this annual outing at University of Michigan’s beautiful golf course. Past celebrities that have played in this outing include: Darren McCarty of the Detroit Red Wings, Olympic Gold Medalist Terry McDermott, and former Detroit Lion Coach Monte Clark. Platinum and Gold Sponsorship foursomes in the outing get to play with a celebrity as a fifth in their group for this scramble event.

Each year a celebrity chair hosts the event. Currently, George Blaha, TV and Radio Voice of Detroit Pistons and Voice of Michigan State Spartan Football, is our Honorary Chairperson. Mort Crim has hosted the event, as well as Steve Garagiola of WDIV, Channel 4.

The event ends with a premium buffet dinner and live and silent sports memorabilia auctions.
